Institute Alternative (IA) is a Montenegrin think tank, established in 2007. Its mission is to strengthen democracy and good governance through research, policy analysis and monitoring of public institutions performance. Its objectives are to increase the quality of work, accountability and transparency, efficiency of public institutions and public officials; to encourage open, public, constructive and well-argument discussions on important policy issues; raising public awareness about important policy issues, strengthening the capacity of all sectors in the state and society for the development of public policies.
