About Institute for Urban Research (IUR)

The Institute for Urban Research (IUR) brings together all urban research at Malmö University and engages with issues, researchers, and stakeholders internationally to co-create with society and establish “the peoples’ urban studies.” Centered under the umbrella of Urban Justice, our research addresses the interconnected themes of Housing and Welfare, Green and Just Cities, Global Urbanism, and Urban Humanities.
