About Institute of Child and Human Development (ICHD)

The Institute of Child and Human Development (ICHD) is a research and technical assistance organization established in 2012 by like-minded partners as a social enterprise working in child development. It was based on decades of experience and lessons from the partners' research and professional work. The Institute focuses on improving the development of young children and children with developmental delays and special needs, for which affordable, quality services are nonexistent. Training of professionals in child development; affordable services with acceptable quality in specific aspects of early childhood development, such as parenting skills and tasks; counseling clinics for children and parents; and community-based initiatives for socialization and values development of children are some of the critical needs identified in which ICHD expects to be engaged.
