The Institute is equipped with latest technological advancements in the form of multiple simulated ORs, cutting-edge physical and virtual reality simulators, spacious auditorium and lecture halls, MAS workstations with HD cameras, and high-tech web and digital infrastructure. Participants use real instruments and equipment during hands-on practice. Run by doctors for doctors, IMMAST offers the complete gamut of Basic to Advanced levels of learning, across multiple specialties, that are conducted by renowned surgeon from India & overseas. IMMAST creates an immersive and risk-free environment to master cognitive, technical, and behavioural skill sets necessary during a real-life clinical situation. The mantra at IMMAST is to give each individual trainee repeated hands-on procedural training, in an ecosystem that forgives failure so that trainees can keep learning from their mistakes, without risk to patients. The Course Design & Training imparted at IMMAST ensures knowledge sharing by experts, and all-encompassing courses make IMMAST one of the few centers globally, to focus on procedure and not merely product-based training. Our trainees are trained on close-to-life models that hold breathing, bleeding animal tissue and perfectly mimic human anatomy. Trainees learn by performing procedures on both ex-vivo and in-vivo animal tissue. With a large pool of national and international eminent faculty with comprehensive clinical experience and expertise, IMMAST is committed to ‘teaching a doctor’ & not just demonstrating a procedure.
