We are iBOL: the International Barcode of Life Consortium. Our mission is to illuminate biodiversity. Through BIOSCAN, researchers and organizations from more than 30 countries are working to establish a DNA-based Earth observation system that will accelerate species discovery, uncover species interactions, and establish a planetary biodiversity baseline to enable global biosurveillance.
