About International Council of Malaysian Scholars

Building Networks, Empowering Leaders, Realising Ideas Founded in 2010, the International Council of Malaysian Scholars (ICMS) is a singular, student-run organisation that aspires to establish a global professional network of outstanding Malaysians. It is the ICMS’ conviction that by bringing talented people with drive and motivation together, opportunities in career and personal development will be created and ideas will flourish. The ICMS further cultivates this atmosphere by empowering its members with the support needed to organise events and to bring new ideas into fruition. Ultimately, leadership is fostered – in professional career, intellectual discourse, event management and in the Malaysian context. Membership We believe that success is made possible if one could work as a team with the brightest minds Malaysia has to offer. The Council admits members via a thorough selection process, thus ensuring the quality of our global network. This Council represents a unique confluence of members across diverse backgrounds, all possessing excellent academic and extra-curricular track records. Our people are highly passionate in their own field and they stem from a multitude of different academic disciplines. Like our members and associates, we believe that you will have a meaningful experience within the ICMS.
