About International Dance League (IDL)
The International Dance League (IDL) is the world’s first professional sports league for dance. With over 26 million people actively participating in dance in the U.S. alone and billions of views across digital platforms, dance is one of the most popular and culturally influential activities on the planet. Yet until now, it has never had a professional league. IDL transforms elite dance into a high-stakes, team-based competition, featuring city-based organization, world-class talent, and a season-long format inspired by F1 and the NBA. But IDL is more than just a league. It is a movement and a full pipeline from youth to pro. We are building a system that empowers dancers to train, compete, and rise through the ranks just like athletes in any major sport. With a digital-first media strategy built for today’s fan behavior, IDL sits at the intersection of sports, culture, and entertainment, and is redefining what it means to be a professional dancer.
