About International Foundation For African Children
In 2000, Africa faced many issues, one of them being the AIDS epidemic which killed about 500,000 children, equal to Equatorial Guinea's population. Ongoing conflicts forced thousands of children into warfare, more than 40 million, mostly girls, lacked access to quality education, threatening their futures. The International Foundation for African Children was established in 2000 by dedicated individuals concerned about the well-being of African children. Registered with Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission (Charity Registration No. 13058), the foundation aims to ensure that every African child feels included and valued, addressing the sense of exclusion they may experience from the rest of the world.
