About International House Torquay

The most beautiful spot to learn English! International House Torquay has been teaching English to international students for over 45 years, we are members of IALC and EnglishUK and are proud to offer high quality programs to a wide range of nationalities in THE most stunning UK location, only a short chauffeur-driven journey away from London airports. There aren’t many places in Britain that you will find palm trees, but you will find them in Torquay, along with award-winning beaches, friendly faces and many cultural, historical and natural attractions. It’s the perfect setting to focus on your goals and see fast, tangible results in your learning, while soaking up British culture. Our experience is that people learn better when they are happy and relaxed. We run the school with heart and soul. Students return to us time after time and recommend us to their family, friends and colleagues. We are now welcoming students from the third generation of some families. We have a great mix of students, with over 30 different nationalities visiting us from all over the world. The school is a professional setting but one where everyone knows your name. The school is located just a few minutes’ walk from Torquay town centre with everything it has to offer. Our host families are just brilliant, they have been with us for many years. Our activity leaders just LOVE showing students around the area, with excursions you just can't reach easily from other areas. Our staff will welcome you with open arms if you'd like to visit! Do come along! If you'd like to arrange a fam trip or visit just DM us and we'll show you how learning English in Torquay is simply the best choice.
