About International Jewish Student Center of Boston

The International Jewish Student Center of Boston (IJSC) is a home away from home for every international Jewish student studying in Boston. It’s a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space where students of all backgrounds and levels of observance can explore their Jewish heritage at their own pace and comfort. Through innovative programs that span all areas of Jewish life, IJSC fosters meaningful connections and vibrant Jewish experiences. Our weekly Shabbat dinners offer students an elegant and inviting setting to meet peers from across Boston’s diverse international academic community, celebrate the beauty of Jewish life, and deepen their connection to Jewish identity and tradition. Creative holiday programs at IJSC inspire Jewish consciousness and pride, providing opportunities for students to connect with their heritage and community in meaningful ways. Engaging lectures and classes on Jewish law, philosophy, and ethics bring the timeless wisdom of our heritage to life for the next generation of leaders. At IJSC, every student can find a sense of belonging and inspiration.
