About International Strabismological Association
The International Strabismological Association (ISA) was formed in 1966. Since its formation, ISA has held a scientific meeting every four years in a different part of the world and is dedicated to the study of strabismus and improving the visual outcomes of patients with various ocular motility disorders. The ISA membership includes ophthalmologists with a special interest in strabismus and orthoptists from 52 countries and numbering over 300.
