Promoting rail freight wagons since 1950 🏆 UIP is a non-for-profit umbrella association based in Brussels 📢 we advocate for a long term & sustainable future of rail freight transport 🌎 We think naturally cross-border because the wagon leasing business operates with an European dimension in mind, with wagons circulating all over Europe. As our wagons do not know any borders we look for European solutions because they will make rail freight operations truly seamless and thus deliver for people and the society. We are the voice for national associations from 14 European countries, thus representing more than 255 000 freight wagons: that is 1 out of every 2 freight wagons circulating in Europe.
