About International Waqf Fund
Recognizing the importance of sustainable Waqf, the International Waqf Fund introduced 'Waqf' as a donation method, previously known as 'Islamic Waqf Relief,' in the year 2000. By donating Waqf shares, your contribution is invested in accordance with Islamic Sharia. This ensures that your donation perpetually aids those who are in need, year after year. You earn ongoing wages until the ultimate meeting with God. A multitude of individuals across 25 countries, spanning regions such as Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Caribbean, have reaped the benefits of our projects, which are financed by the proceeds from Waqf shares investment. Our diverse projects, including clean water, health, education, and livelihood support, along with orphan care, sacrificial provision, and distributing food parcels during Ramadan, are driven by an integrated methodology for lasting impact. Another benefit of Waqf investment is the swift allocation of annual revenues for emergencies, unlike usual fundraising delays. Over many years, the International Waqf Fund has accumulated expertise in meeting the needs of impoverished communities. It has also leveraged the strengths of its parent organization, the Islamic Relief Organization, in numerous communities worldwide.
