About International Wine Education Centre

The International Wine Education Centre (IWEC) was established in 2011 as the first Approved Programme Provider for the internationally-recognised Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in Africa. WSET, however, was established back in 1969 in London and is recognised as the market leader throughout the world in international wine and spirit education. It is currently taught in some over 70 countries all around the world in 19 different languages. Led by WSET International Educator of the Year, Cathy Marston DipWSET, the IWEC offers a full range of WSET courses from entry Level 1 to Level 3, both online and as classroom courses. The IWEC also liaises with the London Wine & Spirit School to facilitate WSET’s flagship qualification, WSET Level 4 Diploma. This is the very best qualification for anyone who will ever have to deal with international customers as well as those involved in looking after discerning local guests and wine connoisseurs and those who simply enjoy and have an interest in wine!
