About International Wing Sports Association

The IWSA WingFoil Racing World Tour is a vibrant and fast-growing platform that brings together the world’s best WingFoil riders. It delivers fair and transparent competition, crowns world champions in the open racing disciplines, and is managed by World Sailing International Race Officials. Guided by principles of diversity, sustainability, accessibility, and minimal environmental impact, the Tour reflects the values of a modern global sport. The Tour spans a wide spectrum of events — from local and regional regattas to continental championships and the elite WingFoil Racing World Cups. At its foundation lies the newly recognized Formula Wing Class, with equipment limitations designed to ensure fairness and accessibility. Together, these events create a clear pathway for grassroots development while showcasing WingFoil racing as an exhilarating new expression of sailing at the highest level. The WingFoil Racing community is youthful, inclusive, and international. It blends the informality and vibrancy of beach culture with the prestige of elite sailing, offering a fresh opportunity to inspire new athletes and engage a new generation of sports fans worldwide.
