The Company operates through two business segments, namely the pharmaceuticals segment, which includes radiopharmaceuticals and the equipments segment, which encompasses proton therapy, particle accelerators and dosimetry. Through its various subsidiaries, Ion Beam Applications SA is active in a number of countries, including Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Sweden, the United States, India and China. In November 2013, the Company announced the closing of the sale of 100% of its business unit Cisbio Bioassays.
