About IONYS AG

Our company emphasizes prevention and durability as guiding principles, aiming to extend the maintenance-free service life of structures and reduce lifecycle costs. Material performance plays a crucial role in achieving these goals. We prioritize the client and their interests, positioning ourselves as partners across the entire value chain—from research departments in industry to engineering firms and executing companies. Originally spun off from cutting-edge research, we now collaborate with leading firms in the construction sector. Our team of scientists, engineers, craftsmen, and chemical technicians works on complex construction challenges, leveraging synergies. Research findings inform our assessments, driving continuous improvement. Our services span a wide range: material testing, technological consultation, concept development, recommendations, and product development—all integrated from sampling to final report and from conceptualization to product launch. Infrastructure construction faces mounting challenges—shorter timelines, climate-related environmental impacts, and increased demands. Drawing on extensive experience, we define critical material parameters, providing robust decision-making support. We offer material technology investigations, condition and damage analyses, and quality assessments of materials and execution.
