About Iranian Institute of Anthropology and Culture (IIAC)

Iranian Institute of Anthropology and Culture (IIAC) was founded by a group of Iranian scholars including anthropologists, sociologists and documentary filmmakers in 2010. The website itself, however, has been active in the Persian language since 2006. The main aim of the Institute and its website is to promote general and scholarly knowledge in different domains about Iranian as well as other cultures. Ultimately, we plan to operate at an international level.
