About Israel Chess Federation

The Israel Chess Federation, founded in 1935, is the official governing body of chess in Israel. The Federation is dedicated to developing the game nationwide, from grassroots initiatives to elite competition. We organize national championships, professional leagues, and youth programs, while working closely with schools and communities to make chess accessible to everyone. Our mission is to nurture young talent, support professional players, and proudly represent Israel in international tournaments and championships. Through innovation, education, and a passion for the game, the Israel Chess Federation continues to strengthen the chess culture in Israel and inspire the next generation of players.
