About iSSACHAR Center for Urban Leadership

Over two decades ago, iSSACHAR began as an urban Christian leadership apprenticeship residency program for young adults. While the residency program has ended, today iSSACHAR continues to provide leadership programming for urban Christian leaders of all generations for public impact. In the biblical story of King David, the people of Issachar were described as valuable at a critical moment in history because, "they understood the times, and knew what should be done." - 1 Chronicles 12:32
