About J's House

We are dedicated to finding a new way to meet the physical and emotional needs of children in Texas foster care. J’s House serves as a 24-hour group home providing critical treatment services to children who have experienced intense emotional trauma. Striving to create a family environment for these children, we welcome up to eight boys - intentionally keeping it small and focused on their individual needs. Our treatment program is aimed at transformative healing, not just behavioral modifications. Our goal is to help these boys heal, so they can find long-term placement before aging out of the foster care system. These children have unfairly experienced early emotional trauma. We are committed to giving them the chance to thrive!
