KADIN DKI Jakarta was formed on 30 November 1967 and was inaugurated by Ali Sadikin on 8 January 1968, who at that time served as Governor of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta through Governor's Decree No IIa. 1/1/1/1968. Iskandarsyah No.35 Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The deliberations finally decided to form the DKI Greater Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry or abbreviated as KADIN JAYA. KADIN DKI Jakarta is also the only institution that organizes collaborative activities between entrepreneurs and the DKI Jakarta government, both at home and abroad. The Governor of DKI Jakarta also approved the DPH and DPP Kadin Jaya and approved all space/office facilities on Jalan HOS Tjokroaminoto No.87 Jakarta for the benefit of the organization. As a form of trust from the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Mr. Ali Sadikin and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government towards KADIN Jaya was realized by handing over the organization of the Jakarta Fair in 1968 to KADIN Jaya through Governor's Decree no Ia 2/2/3/1968 dated February 8 1968. Currently the Jakarta Fair or known as the Jakarta Fair is being held on June 15 1968. On this occasion, the KADIN DKI Jakarta/KADIN Jaya logo was first introduced to the public.
