Registration platforms, CRMs, email systems, project management tools—all GUI-driven interfaces requiring event organizers to do the thinking, the clicking, and the endless data copying between systems. Teams spend 80% of their time on busywork and 20% on strategy. Drawing on my experience scaling SXSW to 400,000+ attendees and $356M economic impact, I’m building the solution I always wanted: AI agents that eliminate operational burden so event producers can focus on the human work that technology will never replace.
