About Java The Hut Coffee Roasters

Java the Hut Coffee was founded in 2009 by Marc and Emer Hynes, initially selling coffee at farmers’ markets and food shows. After enjoying great success, they secured a tender with Irish Rail to open a coffee shop at Balbriggan Train Station, where they still serve customers Monday to Saturday, from 6 am to 4 pm. In 2021, they expanded further by opening a coffee roastery and café at The Beat Centre in Balbriggan.
