About Jefferson State Community College

Jefferson State serves approximately 15,000 students each year and is one of the largest community colleges in the state. We currently offer more than 120 university transfer programs, 33 career programs and numerous certificate programs at our four campuses in Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair and Chilton counties. In addition to these campuses, we have an extensive online presence to allow flexible learning from any location.
