About Jerusalem Open House

The Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance (JOH) is a grassroots organization founded in 1997 by LGBTQ+ activists needing a space to call their own. The JOH operates on the international, national, and local levels, providing the LGBTQ+ community in Jerusalem and its surroundings with a community center and essential health services while working in partnership with the international community, civil society organizations, and government institutions.
