About John Molson Sustainable Enterprise Committee (JSEC)

The John Molson Sustainable Enterprise Committee is a student-led organization representing the intersectionality between business and sustainability at Concordia University. Established in 2015, JSEC has focused on educating, inspiring, and empowering students to integrate sustainability into their careers and everyday lives. By working with industry, faculty, and students, JSEC is working to develop the sustainability community in Montreal and beyond. Our organization is driven by the vision of a seamless integration of business and sustainability, where the two work in perfect synergy. We firmly believe that a sustainable future requires more than just bridging the gap between these concepts: it demands their complete fusion. Through our events and projects, we aim to showcase that sustainability is not only imperative but also the driving force behind the future of business. Not only does JSEC have the mission to exemplify the practical application of sustainable principles within business operations but also highlights the potential of leveraging established business frameworks to actualize sustainable ideas.
