About Johnson Poole & Bloomer (JPB)

Johnson Poole and Bloomer is an independent multidisciplinary geoenvironmental and mineral consultancy operating in several closely related and complementary areas - Geotechnical Engineering, Site Investigation, Environmental Engineering, Contamination, Surveying and Mining and Quarrying. Established in the Black Country in 1844 by Henry Johnson, and born in the mining industry, it continues to offer in-depth specialist skills through its varied engineering, geological, environmental and property disciplines, all helping to address the many issues raised by the redevelopment of land, the development of mines and quarries, the disposal of waste, and the environmental imperatives introduced by such activities. The firm operates throughout the United Kingdom and beyond, from its offices in Brierley Hill (West Midlands), Cardiff and Glasgow. Johnson Poole and Bloomer is committed to the client and strives to provide an independent effective service of the highest quality. The company offers objective advice and practical solutions based upon well founded technical judgements drawn from over a century and half of experience. Johnson Poole & Bloomer and its clients have a common interest in the land - in its development, its resources, in the risks and opportunities that it presents. Understanding the client's needs and providing a personal service lies at the heart of the client relationship. Directors and project managers have a close involvement in all commissions, providing the vital link between client and staff upon which successful consultancy depends.
