What does it mean to "Taste Local History"? Well here, it means that we focus on the culinary heritage of our property and foodway-- especially our Black and Indigenous culinary heritage. We do this with our growing list of classes and the crops we're selecting for our market garden. In Fall 2025, our culinary heritage classes will include: "The History of Bacon" "The History of Johnny Cakes" "Open-Fire Cooking", "The History of Barbecue", and more... Our classes will be available online and in-person.
