About Jonge Strijkers Nederland

Jonge Strijkers Nederland is an inspiring organisation that brings together talented string players aged 6 to 21 from across the Netherlands, offering them a platform for both musical and personal development. Founded by Naomi Bach and led by Nico Schippers, the artistic team focuses on excellence combined with innovative programming. Through intensive coaching by top professionals, including members of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, young musicians develop their technical skills, ensemble playing, and artistic identity. Collaborations with leading soloists and performances at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall highlight the ensemble’s high level and international ambition. In partnership with Nyenrode Business University, the annual summer camp offers a unique environment where music, teamwork, and personal growth come together. JSN is shaping the next generation of musicians while fostering connection, excellence, and social impact.
