About Journeys in Film

Journeys in Film has been a leading force in global education since 2003 by harnessing the power of film to dramatically improve teaching and learning outcomes. We combine carefully chosen episodic, narrative, and documentary films and interactive games with the highest quality standards-based curricula and train teachers on how to effectively teach with media through professional development workshops and online classes. Our programs engage students in meaningful examinations of human rights, poverty and hunger, stereotyping, environmental issues, global health, refugee issues, and gender roles, all while meeting today's educational standards.
