About Just Rights for Children
Just Rights for Children began in India, growing quickly to become a powerful national movement for child protection. Led from India and now operating in Kenya, Nepal, and the United States, Just Rights for Children is a dynamic international network of civil society organizations working to end extreme forms of violence and exploitation against children. Just Rights for Children is also driving meaningful change worldwide, shaping efforts to end violence against children and ensuring that survivors receive the justice and support to which they have the right on a global scale. We believe that justice for victims and their families must be accessible to all, and should comprise legal support, a child-centered approach by law enforcement agencies and the judiciary, adequate compensation, and their rehabilitation. We operate by building collaboration between governments and communities, creating partnerships with key stakeholders, investing in child protection institutions, education, healthcare, justice delivery, and rehabilitation of survivors and their families.
