About Kairos Arts Jersey

Kairos Arts create and facilitate therapeutic workshops providing a safe place for vulnerable people to express and explore their feelings - hopes, joys and fears through the creative arts. We encourage participants to explore emotional qualities, develop their understanding of themselves and others, and find creative solutions to obstacles.   We currently work with women and children recovering from trauma, domestic violence and abuse, those living with chronic illness or terminal illness, children and young people with mental health concerns. We also offer one-off training opportunities and currently facilitate The British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) Level 6 Therapeutic Art Practice Diploma in Jersey. We train our practitioners in an initial Kairos training course and then continue this with CPD and training events; more recently the level 6 Therapeutic Art Practice Diploma. Where appropriate we open up training opportunities to professionals working in relevant fields across the Island.
