Kairos Therapeutic Retreat is a relationship-centered organization with a mission to develop and promote holistic healing practices that help people impacted by cancer, health challenges, and disruptive life events reclaim safety, resilience, and inner authority. Our retreats offer a sanctuary, incorporating evidence-informed, integrative practices that cultivate physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual resilience throughout the healing journey. At Kairos Therapeutic Retreat, we deliver transformational experiences rooted in the innate power of human beings to heal from within, through modalities that: -Incorporate body movement, whole-food nutrition, expressive arts, and other evidence-informed integrative approaches -Raise awareness of the benefits of mindfulness and mind-directed practices -Encourage communion with nature as a powerful method of stress relief -Create connectedness within a community dedicated to sustainable healing -Provide practical tools to sustain transformational results over time The financial burden of cancer and other serious health challenges often creates intense economic stress that can prevent people from accessing the healing spaces and programs they need. In response, we formed as a nonprofit to fundraise, collect donations, and engage sponsors so we can sustainably support participants across all of our programs, regardless of their financial circumstances.
