About Kalaneri

Founded in 2009, Kalaneri is a pioneering art institution in Jaipur that brings together art exhibitions, fine arts education, design training, and immersive cultural experiences within a dynamic creative ecosystem. What began as an Art Gallery and Academy of Fine Arts has gradually evolved into a vibrant cultural platform where artists, collectors, students, scholars, and creative thinkers engage in meaningful dialogue with the arts. At its core, Kalaneri serves as a space where art is not merely displayed but experienced, studied, and lived. The institution regularly hosts art exhibitions, workshops, cultural programs, artist residencies, and creative learning initiatives, creating an environment that encourages both artistic exploration and intellectual engagement. The Kalaneri ecosystem includes Kalaneri Art Gallery, which presents exhibitions that celebrate diverse artistic practices; Kalaneri Academy of Fine Arts, where aspiring artists cultivate foundational and advanced skills in visual arts; and Kalaneri Design Institute, dedicated to guiding students preparing for admissions into leading design and fine arts institutions. Extending its commitment to creativity and heritage, Kalaneri also nurtures initiatives such as Coloroots, a home décor and lifestyle brand rooted in Indian arts and crafts traditions, and Aayām Art Residency & Studio, a contemplative space designed for artists seeking immersive creative exploration. Together, these initiatives form a multidisciplinary platform where art, education, culture, and community intersect—encouraging artistic inquiry, nurturing emerging talent, and strengthening the dialogue between contemporary creativity and cultural heritage. Through its evolving initiatives, Kalaneri continues to shape a space where artists find expression, students discover direction, and audiences experience the transformative power of art.
