KAMA Fashion & Function (🌐 www.kama.cz) is a Czech family business founded in 1989 by Mahulena Pertlová. The company began as a small home-based workshop focused on knitwear made from the finest materials, such as Merino wool, Windstopper, and Gore-Tex. Today, we operate from our own manufacturing facility and, in addition to our Czech domestic market, we export to 30 countries worldwide. 🌍 ✅ Since the very beginning, we have always kept our production only in the Czech Republic, using the best quality materials. ✅ We believe the clothing industry, like its products, should not just be beautiful on the outside. It must be ethical, transparent and sustainable. ✅ Our exclusive yarn supplier is Schoeller. Their yarns are certified to meet the independent ecological standard BLUESIGN®, which guarantees they are made with consideration for people's health and the environment. ✅ We are licensed partner of W.L. Gore & Associates which give us the opportunity to incorporate best performing textile membranes into our knitted products. ✅ We have developed products with outstanding functions – knitted GORE WINDSTOPPER sweaters, beanies and headbands and GORE – TEX beanie, which is considered to be, according many partners around the globe, world unique, all weather protective product. ✅ We also sponsor top athletes as well as young talents.
