Established in 1877, Kamarhatty Company Limited is one of the world's oldest composite jute mills, located in Kolkata along the Ganges River. With a workforce of over 5,000 employees, we specialise in manufacturing Hessian Cloth in various widths and specifications, including plain, laminated, bleached, and dyed options. Our sacking production caters to government agencies and state bodies, supplying essential food grain packaging and sugar bags for sugar mills. Our advanced DILO needle punching line produces Jute Non-Woven Felt using Virgin jute and recycled jute, serving various applications as insulation materials and geo-textiles. Additionally, our Jute/Acrylic mix Fibre, known as "JUTAC," is commonly used for nursery sheets. We also offer 3-strand ropes of customizable weights and lengths. Our dedicated units manufacture a range of fabrics suitable for furnishing and decorative purposes, such as curtains and upholstery. We employ fibre blending techniques to create Jute/Viscose and Linen/Viscose yarn and fabrics, as well as Lurex mixed fabrics, shopping bag fabrics, and JUCO (Jute & Cotton). We also provide customization options, including scented fabrics, oil & water repellent fabrics, fire retardant fabrics, and starched fabric (PVA/Corn starch). In addition, our newly established division, Linyarn Textiles, offers a wide range of FLAX (Linen) Yarns, ranging from 0.75Lea to 80Lea, including Dry Spun Yarn, Semi Wet Yarn, Hot Water Spun Yarn, Rove Bleached Yarn, and Rove Scoured Yarn.
