Kathryn Herman Design jobs and careers

About Kathryn Herman Design

Based in New Canaan, CT Kathryn Herman Design is an internationally recognized and award-winning landscape design firm with a specialty in residential design. In practice since 1997, projects have ranged from rooftop city terraces to large rural properties. We carry out projects all over the United States as well as abroad. Each project is carefully studied and thoughtfully considered. Design solutions are based not only on programmatic needs but on historical context and natural conditions. Our focus is on the connection between architecture and the environment. KHD provides clients with a high level of attention. In seeing projects through to completion, we are part of a broader team that includes architects, interior designers, engineers, craftspeople and environmental consultants. We enjoy the collaborative process with our clients and team members. These partnerships lead to repeat commissions with our clients and allied professionals. At KHD, we pride ourselves on providing style and sophistication. That, coupled with an inherent understanding of the landscapes, makes for the creation of extraordinary environments.
