About Keystone Mental Wellness Project

The Keystone Mental Wellness Project (KMWP) is a student-led initiative founded in Southeastern Pennsylvania with a simple but powerful mission: empower students, strengthen futures. Born out of firsthand experiences with the pressures facing today’s youth—academic stress, social media, isolation, and a lack of accessible mental health resources—KMWP was created by high school students who saw a need for change in their communities. We aim to normalize conversations around mental health, reduce stigma, and offer peer-informed solutions for students, by students. Through workshops, school partnerships, social media storytelling, and collaborative events with local professionals, we’re building a more supportive culture for Pennsylvania’s youth—starting with the voices of students themselves. At KMWP, we believe early support can change a life.
