About Khula Unqobe Creative Arts (KUCA)

Khula Unqobe Creative Arts (KUCA) is a Section 18A non-profit in Gauteng dedicated to uplifting children aged 5-17 through creative arts and academic support. Founded in 2017 by Khanyisile Masongwa, KUCA offers structured after-school programs in drama, music, visual arts, dance, public speaking, and sign language, alongside tutoring and literacy support for learners in Grades 1-9. We believe every child deserves the tools to grow in confidence, explore their talents, and succeed both in school and in life. Our impact is holistic. We partner with schools, ECD centers, families, and communities to deliver development through three pillars: creative arts, academic support and family education. We operate branches in Protea Glen, Fochville, and Kokosi, reaching hundreds of learners and employing a dynamic, youth-led team. Our vision is simple: to grow skilled, confident children who can impact their communities, and to produce academic excellence beyond the classroom.
