About Kirlin Lighting

From incandescent lights of the 1890s to advanced LEDs and controls of the 21st Century, Kirlin Lighting has mastered each evolution in lighting technology to create high-quality state-of-the-art luminaires for healthcare and architectural applications. All products are designed, manufactured and assembled in the USA. Technologies and tastes change, but Kirlin’s passion for lighting innovation, value, and dependability has never wavered over more than 125 years in business. A woman-owned company headquartered in Detroit, Kirlin solves its customers’ most challenging needs by creating LED lighting systems built on enduring principles: INNOVATION: Kirlin’s INFRALED PRO patient lighting system is composed of recessed luminaires that may be aimed in any direction and adjusted in intensity by remote or wall control, providing targeted illumination and eliminating the introduction of bacteria from non-recessed lighting. MODULAR DESIGN: As buildings are repurposed, Kirlin’s modular design makes lighting updates easy. While maintaining UL listing and original housing, the source can be updated to an LED design and modified in color temperature, lumen output, beam pattern, trim design, finish, and color. SUPERIOR QUALITY: Kirlin provides glare-free illumination that is visually comfortable. Its systems are built to last through expert craftsmanship and durable materials, such as corrosion-resistant aluminum, to optimize long-term performance. UNMATCHED RELIABILITY: Kirlin photometrically tests each luminaire at independent laboratories, ensuring they may be installed in challenging environments such as wet areas, saunas and steam rooms, cleanrooms, and spaces that demand infection control and resistance to vandalism. WIDE SELECTION: Kirlin offers a broad product line of complete Look-Alike families with endless options for customization, which ensure a sophisticated architectural lighting design ideally suited for each application.
