About KlimaKom gemeinnützige eG

As a non-profit cooperative for sustainable development, we advise municipalities on how to successfully and sustainably secure their future viability. We offer holistic and systemic consulting in the areas of climate protection, climate adaptation, biodiversity, energy transition, and demography. In planning processes and important projects, we design and accompany participation processes and offer conflict mediation. Through strategic concept development, expert activities, and network building in comprehensive urban and regional development processes, we prepare your municipality for the future. **Our Principles** We are convinced that global warming cannot be curbed solely through technological measures. It requires a profound societal transformation. We support this transformation with scientific expertise and personal commitment. We are committed to strengthening the common good and the communal community. Sustainability is our top priority. Our goal is to achieve climate protection objectives in an economically sensible manner. We support the decentralized use of renewable energy under municipal self-management to strengthen regional economic cycles. We promote transformation processes and increase the acceptance and dissemination of renewable energies.
