About Knaresborough Town Football Club

Knaresborough Town is a semi-professional football club based at our stadium on Manse Lane, Knaresborough. Playing in the Premier Division of the Northern Counties East League, our first team is the second most senior football club in the area in terms of the FA Football Tier system. Our reserves also play at a high level of football in the Premier Division of the West Yorkshire Football League and our relatively new Women’s side have made a very high profile impact in local women’s football, having been promoted two divisions in their first season and are on course for further promotions. We are very much a community club with links to local junior boys’ and girls’ football via our partnership with Knaresborough Celtic FC, and we have also launched a programme to encourage football participation with local schools
