About Koan

Koan is a thinking-focused AI Learning Management System (LMS). We partner with institutions to solve a growing crisis; AI over-reliance eroding students' ability to think critically. The Koan platform disincentivizes generative AI use through interactive learning and a socratic in-house AI Teaching Assistant. Koan is an institution's one-stop solution, managing the core academic workflow from AI-powered evaluations and grading to assignment generation. Koan is the partner you need to embrace AI wisely, empower your educators, and cultivate a new generation of capable, genuine thinkers.
