About Kompotoi

Since 2012, Kompotoi has been developing, renting, and selling ecological sanitation solutions that conserve water and close natural cycles. The mobile compost toilets, handcrafted in Switzerland, stand out for their aesthetics, functionality, and odor neutrality — entirely without chemicals. Made from high-quality wood, they combine artisanal craftsmanship with timeless design. Whether for events, construction sites, festivals, or private use, they offer a comfortable and sustainable alternative to conventional toilets. In addition to a broad product range, a well-stocked online shop, and flexible service options, Kompotoi also develops permanently installed solutions for municipalities and public spaces that are committed to long-term ecological responsibility. The toilets operate within the natural cycle — through composting, nutrients are returned to the soil and waste is transformed into a valuable resource. Kompotoi protects precious drinking water — and turns a necessity into a pleasure.
