About Koridor Utiliti Selangor (KUSEL)

The Selangor Utility Corridor (KUSEL) was officially established on 18 December 2020 as a coordinating body and Supervisor of Selangor State Utilities under the Selangor Menteri Besar (Incorporation) (“MBI”). The appointment of KUSEL is intended to assist and facilitate State Authorities (PBN), Local Authorities (PBT), and Road Authorities (PBJ) in the planning of public facilities and utility routes either in existing areas or in new development areas. The proposed establishment of the Utility Supervisor agency is in line with the Federal Guidelines prepared by the Malaysian Town and Country Planning Department ("JPBD") from the Ministry of Housing and Local Government ("KPKT") which was approved by the Cabinet on 20 April 2012.
