About L.I. Against Domestic Violence

L.I. Against Domestic Violence (LIADV) has been providing survivor centered, trauma informed, life saving services to survivors of intimate partner violence on Long Island since 1976. We offer a myriad of services all designed to assist survivors, their children and pets in finding safety, healing from trauma and entering a path to safety and self sufficiency. Our Education and Prevention services are designed with the goal of providing educational workshops to youth, young adults and adults to raise awareness of the issue and work towards preventing future incidents of violence.
