The Laboratory of Human Rights and New Technologies of the Global South - LabSul - is a center for research, production of knowledge, and actions involving topics related to the ethical and legal challenges of new technologies in the information society. Human rights, public policies, new technologies, the digital economy, and education are the topics studied and are the object of projects and actions by our team. We are connected to various social actors, developing work with the private sector, government agencies, International Organizations, civil society, and the 3rd Sector. Our operations are global, but our main focus is Latin America and Brazil. Ethics, interdisciplinarity, and scientific basis are our pillars. We are a non-profit, non-partisan Civil Association committed to the autonomy and freedom of scientific production.
