About LADES UFRJ

LADES – the Laboratory for Software Development in Process Optimization and Control – is a research group affiliated with the Chemical Engineering Program at COPPE/UFRJ. It develops innovative solutions in advanced control, process optimization, digital twins, and computational intelligence applied to the oil & gas industry, bioprocesses, and energy systems. The group engages in projects with companies such as Petrobras and trains researchers at the master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral levels.
