About Längengrad Filmproduktion GmbH

Längengrad Filmproduktion GmbH is a media company based at Händelstraße 25–29, Cologne, Germany. Captivating images, in-depth research, and gripping dramaturgy characterise our documentaries. We at Längengrad make films that tell stories – stories that aim to inform and educate. They shed light on interconnections and stimulate, motivate – and sometimes even provoke – viewers to think about issues. For us, that means entertainment in the truest sense of the word. It's our absolute conviction that films with relevant content can reach a wide audience – if they're well made. We focus on the fields of science, medicine, the environment, wildlife, globalisation and current affairs.
